The full moon is on Tuesday 7th March 2023, and it is called the Worm Moon.
Earthworm
This is the time of year in the Northern Hemisphere, where the cold winter is beginning to abate. The snowdrops, crocuses and daffodils are appearing and the ground is softening – causing the worms to appear again.
This is also the closest full moon to the Vernal (Spring) Equinox.
Astrologically, the sun is in the water sign of Pisces (the Fish) while the moon is in the earth sign of Virgo (the Maiden).
The archetype of Pisces is the energy of the mystic or dreamer; one who searches for the deeper meaning of life and purpose. The ‘down to earth’ energy of Virgo is that of the organiser.

What does this Full Moon ask us to consider?
During the New Moon we were asked to open our hearts and minds to ‘downloads’, ideas that just ‘popped into my mind’, and to try meditation.
Eight of Cups
This is supported by the Angel Message for March, the Eight of Cups, where we were encouraged to look beyond the physical world for answers.
So, the question then becomes, where do I go from here?
Watery Pisces energy has seen us all experience some emotionally charged situations recently.
The good news means that change is upon us and although our subconscious minds DO NOT like, and try to resist change, without change, we stagnate and go ‘around the same merry-go-round’ over and over again.
In times of emotional shifts, it’s also easy to be triggered by other people and criticise and blame them.
The earthly energy of Virgo now reaches out to help us and provide a soothing balm to our lives. We can choose how we can best use this energy that is here to help us heal our hearts and minds and soothe our souls.
We need to step back, take a breath, and try to be gentle in our communication towards other people as well as towards ourselves.
Some suggestions for self-healing are:
- Giving ourselves the permission, space and time to relax, release and surrender to the flow of life
- Taking time out to read a book
- Listening to calming music
- Becoming still
- Practising meditation
- Attending a holistic healing therapy e.g. acupuncture, reiki, massage or energy (angel) healing
- Watching and listening to the ocean, a river or a stream
- Walking barefoot on the grass
- Keeping a crystal close to hand or in your home

Questions to Journal on:
- What does my body and mind need from me right now?
- How can I pay attention and listen to what my body and mind are asking from me?
- How can I choose to relax and allow my soul to be nourished?
- When my intuition speaks to me in my ‘gut’, (it’s the quiet, small voice within that ‘nudges’ or prompts me), do I follow the guidance?
Remember that Mother Nature is the Great Healer and Nurturer, so allow yourself to receive her touch.
Feel free to get in touch if you need further encouragement or even an oracle card message from the angels and guides.
Also, if you feel that someone else would benefit from these words, please do share this message and perhaps they would like to join the newsletter.
Wishing you much light and love as always.
