The Energy of the Moon
There is something mysterious about the moon. The moon affects the tides and as we are 70% water, so too are we affected by the moon.
We know that the waxing and waning of the moon is linked women’s menstrual cycles and in ancient times, the moon was critical to guiding the agricultural rhythms and seasons of planting and harvesting. The moon was therefore connected to fertility.
When we connect again with nature, we can observe how the 13 moons wax to the glory of the full moon and then wane to the quiet darkness of the new moon.
In astrology, the moon influences our intuition, our emotions, and our unconscious habits. The moon moves into a different constellation every month, and Jung gave us archetypes for each one of the 12 signs of the zodiac.
When we combine these energies, we realise that the energy of the moon shines its light and energy to help us grow and understand ourselves.
