The full moon is on Monday 25th March 2024, and it is called the Worm Moon.
Blackbird with a worm
This is the time of year in the Northern Hemisphere, when the cold winter is beginning to abate, and the evidence of Spring is all around us. The snowdrops, crocuses, daffodils, and tulips are blooming, and the ground is softening – causing the worms to appear again.
This is also the closest full moon to the Vernal (Spring) Equinox – a time of equal day and night.
Astrologically, the sun is in the fiery sign of Aries (the Ram) while the moon is in the air sign of Libra (the Scales).

(the Ram)
Libra
(the Scales)
The archetype of Aries is the energy of the spark of life and the creative fire; while the calm, balanced energy of Libra asks us to think about how we evaluate relationships and love in our lives.
What does this Full Moon ask us to consider?
During the New Moon, we were invited to cut away those beliefs, patterns, and ideas about ourselves and life that no longer serve us.
When we cut away the dead wood, there is space for new growth, and this is the energy that now presents itself to us.
What is creativity?
According to the Cambridge Academic Content Dictionary, it is the ability to produce original and unusual ideas or to make something new or imaginative.
I have learned that there exists a 4-C Model of Creativity.
The following information comes from verywelllmind.com
- “Mini-c” creativity involves personally meaningful ideas and insights that are known only to the self.
- “Little-c” creativity involves mostly everyday thinking and problem-solving. This type of creativity helps people solve everyday problems they face and adapt to changing environments.
- “Pro-C” creativity takes place among professionals who are skilled and creative in their respective fields. These individuals are creative in their vocation or profession but do not achieve eminence for their work.
- “Big-C” creativity involves creating works and ideas that are considered great in a particular field. This type of creativity leads to eminence and acclaim and often leads to world-changing creations such as medical innovations, technological advances, and artistic achievements.
How does being creative connect to harmony and balance?
When we tap into that creative spark that exists within us all, we let go and allow the inspiration to flow.
Being in the flow
The feeling of being in the flow, being at one with the idea, and being ‘in the zone’ is a place beyond left-brain thinking.
As well as being an exhilarating experience, it’s also a deep well of inner stillness and a feeling of being connected to and in tune with God/Goddess/Divinity/the Universe.
In music, harmony is the concept of combining different sounds together in order to create new, distinct musical ideas (Wikipedia).
This means creating chords.
Chords sound good because they are not just random notes stuck together, but rather, are notes whose wave frequencies fit well together.

When we ignite the spark of passion and allow the flow of creative inspiration to merge with the desire to create harmony and cooperation, we begin to see new growth in our lives.
This spark of new life allows the energy of Spring to literally and figuratively blossom in our hearts.
This energy will also give us the courage to bypass the status quo. This allows us to tap into the abundance that the Universe offers us at this time and manifest more harmonious relationships.
When this happens, we will witness the positive life force that is within our hearts, and enjoy feelings of generosity, equanimity, and resilience.
May we all discover and let loose our creative spark and learn to flow in harmony with the Universe.
