May New Moon 2025 – Connect to Your Heart

On Sunday 27th April, the Sun moves into the constellation of Taurus (the Bull).

Taurus is an Earth sign, and Earth symbolises the practical, physical and financial aspects of life. It is also associated with love and beauty.

Aspects of Taurus include:

  • Sensuality
  • Being surrounded by beautiful things
  • Tenaciousness
  • Endurance
  • Loyalty
  • A strong sense of self belief

Taurus energy is the most grounded of all the zodiac signs. It is the energy of abundance and connecting with the heart.

Now is the time to slow down and appreciate the beauty and abundance of life all around you.

  • Look at a flower, take the time to study the ants scurrying around, or observe the bees collecting nectar.
  • Breathe – inhale for 4 counts and exhale for 4 counts.
  • Touch something soft and notice how it feels.
  • Listen to a beautiful song or the wind as it whispers through the trees.

It’s time to connect with our hearts.

Heart-brain coherence is the state of harmony between the heart and the mind. The mind always seems to jump from topic to topic, but if we can slow the mind down, it will come to rest and provide us with positive benefits, such as:

  • Reduced stress
  • Emotional regulation and resilience
  • Mental clarity
  • Better social interactions
  • Feeling happier
  • Increased immunity
  • Lower blood pressure

As Keats said in his poem Ode to a Grecian Urn,

“Beauty is truth, and truth beauty”

So, how do we connect to beauty, our hearts, and truth?

The answer is to connect with our bodies, our senses and FEEL what it’s like to be in the moment – in the now.

Here are some suggestions…

Dance like no one’s watching

I wish you a joyful time as you connect to your heart and the beauty all around you.

True. Our minds are in multi tasking mode at the moment. And this causes stress panic and revengeful acts. I spent Friday planting seedlings. Again! My mind forgot all other issues and I felt so relaxed. Take time to do one thing at a time away from the real world that you enjoy !

Thank you SO much for your lovely comment and the very astute observation about the mind being in multi-tasking mode, Charmaine.
I think it’s brilliant that you were able to focus on being outdoors and in nature, planting seedlings (even if you were planting them again). 🙂
Excellent comment about taking the time to do one thing at a time – that you enjoy!! So true!
Thank you, and sending you love
