August 2022 New Moon (Virgo)

The new moon is on 28^th August 2022 and we are in the sign of Virgo (the Maiden).

New moons call us to go inward and become thoughtful as we have the opportunity to reset our intentions and plans for the coming month.

Virgo – the maiden

The archetype of Virgo is the Healer or Helper. Virgo symbolises a feminine aspect in all of us (whether we identify as male, female or non-binary). If we think about feminine characteristics, these include service, nurturing, caring, using our intuition and helping others.

Service to others involves preparation and clear thinking. What are we being called to prepare for? What plans can we make for the next month? Virgo calls us to have a sense of purpose as we move forward into the latter part of the year.

During the month of August we were called to rest and recuperate. Now that we have recharged, we have the energy to plan and bring our creative ideas into form.
