What do we need to focus on for the month of February?
The answer is the Eight of Pentacles.
The suit of Pentacles indicates practical matters – including our physical bodies and material possessions.
The 8 represents balanced expansion through the heart (it is the infinity symbol on its side).
Eight of Pentacles
The Eight of Pentacles card and what it means.
Let’s look at the card a little closer …
When we look at the card from Juliet Sharman-Burke’s deck, we see a workman wearing his green apprentice apron. He is busy at his workbench, carving out a pentacle with careful precision.
Behind him on the wooden board are a further seven pentacles that he has already completed. He is enjoying his work, and he is utterly absorbed in this task.
A little work is required
February will bring opportunities to work hard and adopt an attitude of diligence, dedication, and enthusiasm.
This may be for a job, a project, a hobby, or talent.
Even though some aspects of the tasks may seem boring and mundane, this card is encouraging us to keep going – and not to give up, because soon our hard work will be rewarded.
The skills and wisdom we are learning at this time will become extremely valuable later.
So, we are encouraged to step out with confidence and remember to enjoy the journey. This card is not necessarily about the ‘destination’. Rather, it’s about the joy, the learning, and the personal self-growth that we achieve as we master our skills.
Enjoy the Journey
Be like a cat
Also, we should not hesitate nor be afraid to step out of our comfort zone to learn new skills.
Be like a cat – jump and remember that cats always land on their feet!
I wish you much light and love as you apply yourself to learning and developing new skills during the month of February.
