What do we need to focus on for the month of July?
The answer is The Three of Wands.
The Three of Wands card and what it means.
Let’s look at the card a little closer …
When we look at the card from Juliet Sharman-Burke’s deck, we see a man, holding one of the three wands. He stands confidently looking over the sea at his ships sailing to the distant land of Egypt.
The man is dressed for travel – he is wearing his yellow cloak and travel boots. The sea is calm, and the boats have nearly reached their destination.
The suit of Wands refers to the element of fire. Fire symbolises passion and creativity… ‘Something’ is happening.
The number 3 in tarot refers to creation, commitment, growth, and action.
So often we look to the future – about what is to come. We want to see change and our ‘ship’ reach its destination. But although it is okay to focus on the future, we still need to remember to live in the PRESENT.
We can and should ask ourselves what our heart’s desire is NOW?
In November 2023, we received the card of the Two of Wands.
This card was about rebirth and finding balance – balance in the outer masculine energy of doing and the inner feminine energy of being.
In the Two of Wands picture, the journey is about to begin, and now in the Three of Wands, it is well on its way.
Progress has been made.

However, we do not live in the future.
We live here and now, in the present. Money, luxury, and other ‘things’ are nice, but what do we really want? What would bring us inner fulfillment?
This is where true passion lies and it is the key to unlocking creativity and inner growth.
Questions to Journal:
- What activities bring me joy?
- What would I like to do but put off due to lack of time, money, resources, or energy?

The Universe is abundant.
We are made in the ‘image of the Creator’, and that means we are creators too.
If we step out of our comfort zone, prepare to travel into the unknown, and try a new hobby or creative task, the Universe will meet us with resources, time, money, and energy.
So, it’s time to take the necessary steps – the world is wide open and waiting for us to commit to LIVING in the here and now.
