Beaver
November’s full moon is called the Beaver Moon because this was the time that the Native Americans trapped beavers for their warm winter fur.
In nature, here in the Northern Hemisphere:
- Beavers build dams and prepare their lodges before the waters turn to ice.
- Deer rut (mate).
- Bears dig out their winter dens in readiness for hibernation.
- Fish spawn.
- The frosts begin.
In archetypal astrology, the Sun is in Sagittarius (the Archer), a fire sign and symbolises the adventurer or explorer.
The Moon is in Gemini (the Twins), an air sign and symbolises the messenger or one who communicates.

What does this Full Moon ask us to consider?

During the new moon, we were asked to sow the seeds to create more positive, deeper, and more meaningful relationships in our lives.
During this full moon, the focus is on communication and having important conversations.
Tips for having healthy conversations:
- Allow your intuition the freedom to explore and break through old patterns of how you communicate with others. If you held back from speaking, perhaps now is the time to say how you feel.
- Be positive and authentic.
- Stop focusing on the other person’s lack of self-awareness and inability to communicate. They are doing the best they know how.
- Stop allowing yourself to be emotionally manipulated and triggered by what others say. Like the beaver, build a boundary.
- Separate your feelings from those of others. You are not responsible for everyone else. However, you are responsible for your own response.
- Find a way to centre yourself during an emotional conversation. Breathe in, breathe out, and think of your feet growing roots into the ground. Let these roots touch the very centre of the Earth, where you will find stability and calmness.
- Ask yourself why you are feeling emotionally triggered because all relationships mirror ourselves back to us in some way.
- Step away from emotional conflict until you feel calmer.
- Journal about your feelings and ask your angels for help.
- Be open to new ideas.
- Walk in nature – the Great Healer.
- Try breathing or Tapping (EFT) therapy to help release energy.
Wishing you much light and love as always.

Thank you so much for responding and you’ve made a really interesting point about when we stew in anger, it’s like drinking poison.
